The Stand to Reason "Please Convince Me" Apologetics Podcast
The Stand to Reason “Please Convince Me” Podcast is hosted by J. Warner Wallace, cold-case detective and author of Cold-Case Christianity (A Homicide Detective Investigates the Claims of the Gospels). We examine the case for the Christian Worldview from an evidential perspective and do our best to tell it like it is. With the rules of evidence clearly in mind, we examine the case for the existence of God, the reality of dualism, the reliability of the Biblical text, and the deity of Jesus. Along the way we also take a critical look at the nature of the Christian Church in America today. Why are so many young people leaving the church? Why are so many older Christians apathetic and unengaged? Why do so few Christians understand what they believe, and why do even fewer understand WHY they believe it? Join us each week as we sort through the evidence for the Christian Worldview and examine the life of the Church. Please visit our websites at www.STR.org and www.ColdCaseChristianity.com.

In this podcast, Jim examines two recent news stories from secular universities where professors or studies made claims with faulty reasoning. One involves a claim of Christian bigotry and another involves a claim about the materialistic nature of the brain. Jim also answers an email related to our ability to deny the truth and another email related to same sex marriage.

In this podcast, Jim examines the existence of objective moral truth claims. Do such claims exist? Why is it so important for the Church to understand this issue? Also, Jim answers listener email related to online apologetics discussions, the existence of a “personal” God, the value and importance of Mormon missions trips and the role of an apostle.

In this podcast, Jim examines the power of Jesus alone as an evidence for God’s existence. Jim also answers listener email related to the early dating of the gospels, the nature of the human soul, and the philosophical arguments for monotheism.

In this podcast, Jim provides four principles to guide those who want to engage skeptics on-line. In addition, Jim responds to email questions related to the importance of the Trinity, the image of God in humans and materialist objections to the Resurrection.
